       d.where                                                      Identifies  the geographic coordinates associated with point
                                                                    locations given in display coordinates.

       r.random.cells                                               Generates random cell values with spatial dependence.

       r.random                                                     Creates a raster map layer and vector point  map  containing
                                                                    randomly located points.

       t.rast.what                                                  Sample  a space time raster dataset at specific vector point
                                                                    coordinates and write the output to stdout  using  different
                                                                    layouts

       t.sample                                                     Samples  the input space time dataset(s) with a sample space

       v.what.vect                                                  Uploads vector values at positions of vector points  to  the
                                                                    table.
