SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION

grub-floppy is a program to build a generic grub boot disc. The boot
disc when booted provides the grub command line (also referred to as
       the grub shell).

For more information on using the grub command line, see info grub

options starting with two dashes (‘-’). A summary of options is
       included below.

NOTE

It is possible to create a grub boot disc using grub-install, although
the boot disc created will be specific to the computer it is created
on. Using grub-floppy will create a more generic floppy only limted by
       architecture.
