NAME

lessdisks-install - installer for lessdisks chroots

SYNOPSIS

       lessdisks-install [-a|--arch <arch>] [-c|--configfile <filename>]
       [-l|--logfile <filename>] [-d|--dialog <dialog>] [--skip|--skip-menus]
       [-h|--help]

DESCRIPTION

installs a chroot(8) to be used as a lessdisks root filesystem.

the debootstrap(8) program is used to install a Debian base system.
once a base system is installed, the lessdisks-terminal package is
installed into the chroot, followed by any programs selected as part of
       configuring the lessdisks-terminal package.

OPTIONS

       -a, --arch <arch>
specify the hardware architecture to install: options are: auto,
i386, alpha, powerpc, etc. setting to auto will attempt to
autodetect the architecture of the server and use that value.

       -c, --configfile <filename>
specify an alternate configuration file, defaults to
              /etc/lessdisks-install.conf

       -l, --logfile <filename>
specify an alternate log file, defaults to /var/log/lessdisks-
              install.log

       -d, --dialog <dialog>
specify dialog type. valid options are dialog(1), Xdialog(1),
              cmdline and whiptail(1).

       --skip, --skip-menus
skip the installer’s dialogs and menu prompts.

       -h, --help
              display help information

FILES

       /etc/lessdisks-install.conf /var/log/lessdisks-install.log

BUGS

lessdisks-install is not currently capable of installing a chroot for a
       different architecture than the server.
