NAME

       pdns_recursor - The PowerDNS recursor

SYNOPSIS

       pdns_recursor [options]

DESCRIPTION

       This manual page is describes how to use the pdns_recursor command.

       pdns_recursor is a program that does name server queries on the net and
       retrieves info about other domains.

OPTIONS

       A summary of options is included below.  For  a  complete  description,
       see the Info files.

       --help
              Show summary of options.

       --aaaa-additional-processing=[yes|no]
              Turn on to do AAAA additional processing (slow)

       --config-dir=...
              Location of configuration directory (recursor.conf)

       --daemon=[yes|no]
              Operate as a daemon

       --delegation-only=...
              Which domains we only accept delegations from

       --local-address=...
              address to listen on

       --local-port=...
              port to listen on

       --quiet=[yes|no]
              Suppress logging of questions and answers

       --soa-minimum-ttl=...
              Minimum  Time  To Live for a sOARecord. It’s not recommended and
              supported to change this setting.

       --soa-serial-offset=...
              The offset for the serial in a sOARecord. It’s  not  recommended
              and supported to change this setting.

       --socket-dir=...
              Where the controlsocket will live

       --trace=...
              if we should output heaps of logging
