NAME

sfeed_mbox — format feed data to mboxrd

SYNOPSIS

     sfeed_mbox [file ...]

DESCRIPTION

sfeed_mbox formats feed data (TSV) from sfeed(1) from stdin or for each file to stdout in
the mboxrd format. If one or more file arguments are specified then the basename of the
file is used as the feed name in the output. If no file arguments are specified and so the
data is read from stdin then the feed name is empty. The mbox data can be further processed
by tools like procmail(1) or fdm(1) for example. See the README file for some examples.

CUSTOM HEADERS

To make further filtering simpler some custom headers are set:

     X-Feedname
The feed name, this is the basename of the feed file.

ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES

     SFEED_MBOX_CONTENT
Include the content. This can be insecure for some of the mail clients that
interpret HTML code in an unsafe way. By default this is set to "0".

EXIT STATUS

The sfeed_mbox utility exits 0 on success, and >0 if an error occurs.

EXAMPLES

     sfeed_mbox ~/.sfeed/feeds/*

To include the content. This can be insecure for some of the mail clients that interpret
HTML code in an unsafe way:

     SFEED_MBOX_CONTENT=1 sfeed_mbox ~/.sfeed/feeds/*
