OPIS
ranlib generuje indeks do zawartoci archiwum i zachowuje go w archiwum.
Indeks wymienia kady symbol, zdefiniowany przez czlonkow archiwum,
ktorzy s relokowalnymi plikami obiektowymi.
Moesz uy `nm -s' lub `nm --print-armap' w celu wylistowania tego
indeksu.
Archiwum z takim indeksem szybciej si linkuje i zezwala procedurom z
biblioteki na wzajemne wywolywanie si, bez uwagi na to, w jakiej s
kolejnoci.
Program GNU ranlib jest inn postaci GNU ar; uruchomienie ranlib jest
zupelnie rownowane `ar -s'.
