       atof - convierte una cadena a un double.


SINOPSIS
       #include <stdlib.h>

       double atof(const char *nptr);


DESCRIPCI'ON
       La  funcion  atof()  convierte la porcion inicial de la cadena apuntada
       por nptr a un double. El comportamiento es el mismo que

              strtod(nptr, (char **)NULL);

       excepto que atof() no detecta errores.


VALOR DEVUELTO
       El valor convertido.
