sdm-login - prompts a user for login
presents the user with a login screen, using zenity(1), similar to the xdm(1) login prompt. instead of using the XDMCP protocol, sdm-login uses ssh(1) X11 Forwarding to encrypt the entire ssh session. configuration options are defined in /etc/sdm/sdm.config and /etc/sdm/sdm.config.$hostname if autologin is set to yes, the login prompt will not be displayed, and sdm-login will attempt to log in as the same user as the hostname of the system, unless the user variable is defined in one of the configuration files.
does not respond properly to kill signals.
