naco_util_spc_model - Generate FITS table with physical spectro model
esorex naco_util_spc_model [OPTIONS] FILE.sof
The sof file shall consist of 1 line with the name of an ASCII-file currently tagged with SPC_MODEL_ASCII. The file must comprise these 9 columns: SpecMode (with a value found in ESO SEQ SPECMODE) Residual (with fitting residual, currently ignored) Fit_Order (with the number of fitted coefficients in the Legendre polynomial) XMin (with the minimum pixel value used for the fit) XMax (with the maximum pixel value used for the fit) C_1 (with the coefficient of the 1st Legendre term) C_2 (with the coefficient of the 2nd Legendre term) C_3 (with the coefficient of the 3rd Legendre term) C_4 (with the coefficient of the 4th Legendre term) The default input ASCII-file is in the catalogs/ directory of the NACO source-code distribution.
Note that it is possible to create a configuration file containing these options, along with suitable default values. Please refer to the details provided by the 'esorex --help' command.
The full documentation for the naco pipeline can be downloaded as a PDF file using the following URL: ftp://ftp.eso.org/pub/dfs/pipelines/naco/naco-pipeline-manual-1.1.pdf An overview over the existing ESO pipelines can be found on the web page http://www.eso.org/sci/software/pipelines/. Basic documentation about the EsoRex program can be found at the esorex (1) man page. It is possible to call the pipelines from python using the python-cpl package. See http://packages.python.org/python-cpl/index.html for further information. The other recipes of the naco pipeline are naco_img_checkfocus(7), naco_img_dark(7), naco_img_detlin(7), naco_img_jitter(7), naco_img_lampflat(7), naco_img_slitpos(7), naco_img_strehl(7), naco_img_twflat(7), naco_img_zpoint(7), naco_spc_combine(7), naco_spc_lampflat(7), naco_spc_wavecal(7), naco_util_img_std_cat(7), naco_util_spc_argon(7)
