       mate-power-backlight-helper  -  helper  application  for MATE's power management backlight
       control

SYNOPSIS

       mate-power-backlight-helper [ --help ] [ --set-brightness ] [ --get-brightness ] [  --get-
       max-brightness ]

DESCRIPTION

       This manual page documents briefly the mate-power-backlight-helper command.

       mate-power-backlight-helper  is  a  helper  utility  for  controlling the backlight of TFT
       displays via the MATE power manager userspace daemon.

       The mate-power-backlight-helper requires to be run with root privileges.

OPTIONS

       This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long  options  starting  with
       two dashes (`-').  A summary of options is included below.

                 --help
              Show summary of options.

                 --set-brightness BRIGHTNESS_LEVEL
              Set the given brightness.

                 --get-brightness
              Get the current brightness.

                 --get-max-brightness
              Get the number of brightness levels supported.
