NAME

       addbddvar - adds a new variable in the bdd system.

SYNOPSYS

       #include "bdd101.h"
       bddnode ∗addbddvar( BddSystem, Variable )
         bddsystem ∗BddSystem;
         bddvar     Variable;

PARAMETERS

       BddSystem           The bdd system.

       Variable            The variable number.

DESCRIPTION

       addbddvar creates a new variable, with the number Variable, in the bdd system BddSystem.
       If a null pointer is given, the default bdd system is used.

RETURN VALUE

       addbddvar returns a pointer to the bdd node of the new variable.

ERRORS

       "no more variables, error !"
              There is no variable number left.
       "variable xxx out of range, error !"
              The Variable parameter must be less or equal to the BddSystem->NUMBER_VAR field.

EXAMPLE

       #include "bdd101.h"
          bddsystem  ∗BddSystem;
          bddnode    ∗BddNode;
          BddSystem  = createbddsystem( 100, 1000, 100, 50000 );
          BddNode = addbddvar( (bddsystem ∗)0, 0 );
          destroybddsystem( (bddsystem ∗)0 );
