dh_usrlocal [debhelper オプション] [-n]

dh_usrlocal コマンドはインストールの際に /usr/local 以下にサブディレクトリを作成するパッケージをビルドする時に使える debhelper プログラムです。

このコマンドは、パッケージビルドディレクトリにある usr/local 以下のサブディレクトリを走査・削除し、Debian policy の内容に沿った形でインストール時に作成されたディレクトリを作成、及びパッケージ削除時に削除を実施するため、(-n が使われてない限り) メンテナスクリプトのスニペットで置換します。これらのスニペットは dh_installdeb により、メンテナスクリプトへ挿入されます。debhelper のメンテナスクリプトのスニペットに関する説明については、dh_installdeb(1) を参照して下さい。

When the Rules-Requires-Root field is not (effectively) binary-targets, the directories in /usr/local will have ownership root:staff and the mode will be 02775. These values have been chosen to comply with the recommendations of the Debian policy for directories in /usr/local.

When Rules-Requires-Root has an effective value of binary-targets, the owners, groups and permissions will be preserved with one exception. If the directory is owned by root:root, then ownership will be reset to root:staff and mode will be reset to 02775. This is useful, since that is the group and mode policy recommends for directories in /usr/local.

postinst/prerm を変更しません。

このコマンドは複数回実行しても安全なコマンドではありません。このコマンドを複数回呼び出す際には必ず間に dh_prep(1) を挿入してください。さもないと、メンテナスクリプト中に同じ内容のコードを繰り返し挿入してしまいます。
