NAME
gimasterbias - Creates a master bias image from a set of raw biases.
SYNOPSIS
esorex gimasterbias [OPTIONS] FILE.sof
DESCRIPTION
For detailed information please refer to the GIRAFFE pipeline user manual. It is available at http://www.eso.org/pipelines.
OPTIONS
--stack-method <str> Stacking method: average, median, minmax or ksigma (str; default: ´average´). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.stacking.method [default = average]. --stack-ksigmalow <float> Lower threshold multiplier for method ksigma (float; default: 5.0). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.stacking.ksigma.low [default = 5.0]. --stack-ksigmahigh <float> Upper threshold multiplier for method ksigma (float; default: 5.0). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.stacking.ksigma.high [default = 5.0]. --stack-minreject <int> Minimum rejection level for method minmax (int; default: 1). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.stacking.minmax.minimum [default = 1]. --stack-maxreject <int> Maximum rejection level for method minmax (int; default: 1). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.stacking.minmax.maximum [default = 1]. --mbias-oscremove <bool> Remove pre- and over-scan regions from the created master bias image. (bool; default: False). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.masterbias.overscan.remove [default = False]. --mbias-bpxclean <bool> Correct master bias image for bad pixels (bool; default: False). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.masterbias.badpixel.clean [default = False]. --bpm-create <bool> Create bad pixel map using a simple thresholding algorithm. (temporary!) (bool; default: True). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.masterbias.bpm.create [default = True]. --bpm-factor <float> Readout noise multiplier defining the valid range of pixel values for searching bad pixels. (float; default: 5.0). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.masterbias.bpm.factor [default = 5.0]. --bpm-frac <float> Maximum fraction of pixels which may be flagged as ´bad. If more pixels are found to be ´bad a warning is issued. (float; default: 0.15). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is giraffe.masterbias.bpm.fraction [default = 0.15]. Note that it is possible to create a configuration file containing these options, along with suitable default values. Please refer to the details provided by the 'esorex --help' command.
