NAME

       DR::SunDown - perl bindings for sundown

SYNOPSIS

           use DR::SunDown;
           my $markdown = `cat README.markdown`;
           my $html = markdown2html $markdown;

   utf8
       The converter returns utf8-strings if it receives utf8-strings.

           use Encode 'encode', 'decode';

           # $string is encoded utf8
           my $string = markdown2html encode utf8 => $data;

           # $string and $data have the same utf8 flag
           my $string = markdown2html $data;

           utf8::decode( $data ) if utf8::is_utf8( $data );
           # $string is decoded utf8
           my $string = markdown2html $data;

DESCRIPTION

       The library is a perl binding for C-library sundown <https://github.com/vmg/sundown.git>.

EXPORTS

   markdown2html(TEXT)
       Converts markdown text to html.
