NAME

       Catmandu::Util::Regex - Regex related utility functions

FUNCTIONS

       as_regex($str)
           Escapes and quotes the given string as a regex.

       substituter($search, $replace)
           Builds a function that performs a regex substitution.

               my $ltrimmer = substituter('^[\h\v]+', '');
               $ltrimmer->("        eek! ");
               # => "eek! "
