NAME

       vimos_ima_fringe - Fringe frame creation for imaging

SYNOPSIS

       esorex vimos_ima_fringe [OPTIONS] FILE.sof

DESCRIPTION

       vimos_ima_fringe -- VIMOS fringe frame creation recipe.

       Take a list of science frames and correct them to remove bias, dark and flat field
       signatures. Combine the images to form a new master fringe frame

       The program accepts the following files in the SOF:

           Tag                   Description

           OBJECT A list of raw science images
           MASTER_BIAS           A master bias frame
           MASTER_DARK           A master dark frame
           MASTER_TWILIGHT_FLAT  A master flat frame
           MASTER_CONF           A master confidence map
           MASTER_READGAIN A master readgain table All of these are required.

OPTIONS

       --prettynames <bool>
              Use pretty product names? (bool; default: False). The full name of this option for
              the EsoRex configuration file is vimos.vimos_ima_fringe.prettynames [default =
              False].

       --psm_ipix <int>
              Minimum pixel area for each detected object (int; default: 5). The full name of
              this option for the EsoRex configuration file is vimos.vimos_ima_fringe.psm_ipix
              [default = 5].

       --psm_thresh <float>
              Detection threshold in sigma above sky (float; default: 3.0). The full name of this
              option for the EsoRex configuration file is vimos.vimos_ima_fringe.psm_thresh
              [default = 3.0].

       --psm_nbsize <int>
              Background smoothing box size (int; default: 64). The full name of this option for
              the EsoRex configuration file is vimos.vimos_ima_fringe.psm_nbsize [default = 64].

       Note that it is possible to create a configuration file containing these options, along
       with suitable default values. Please refer to the details provided by the 'esorex --help'
       command.
