PARAMETERS

       • string: A bson_string_t.

       • free_segment: A bool indicating whether string->str should be freed.

DESCRIPTION

       Frees the bson_string_t structure and optionally string->str.

RETURNS

       string->str if free_segment is false, otherwise NULL.
