NAME

       amsn-remote-CLI - program to connect to amsn remotely.

SYNOPSIS

       amsn-remote-CLI <OPTIONS>

DESCRIPTION

       This manual page documents briefly the amsn-remote-CLI and its commands.

       amsn-remote-CLI is a program that allows you to connect to amsn remotely.  You can chat on
       the console using it.

OPTIONS

       A summary of allowed commands are included below.

       help   Shows help on screen.

       logout Disconnects you from the currents session.

       connect
              Connects you to your account.

       online Shows you all online users and their states.

       status Shows your current nick, personal message, state.

       getstate
              Shows you our online state.

       setstate { state }
              Sets your state : Online/Away/Busy/NoActivity/BRB/OnPhone/Lunch/AppearOffline

       setnick { nickname }
              Allows you to change your nickname.

       msg { user message }
              Sends the message "message" to the user with the email "user".

       msg { message }
              Sends the message "message" to the user defined with the command "chatto".

       chatto { user }
              Let's you chat with the user "user" so you won't need to type  it's  email  address
              everytime.

       endchat
              Ends the chat with the user defined by the command "chatto".

       whois { user }
              Gives you the email address of the user depending on his nickname.

       whatis { user }
              Gives you the nickname of a user depending on his email address.

       quit   Ends the remote controlling session.

       amsn_close
              Closes the amsn server.

       Note : If you use only "testemail" for an email address, it will work as
              if you entered "testemail@hotmail.com"
