NAME

       Array::map - Map a function across an array.

SYNOPSIS

       [b] map( b(a) f, [a] xs )

ARGUMENTS

       f The function to apply

       xs The array

DESCRIPTION

       Returns the array created by applying function f to every element of xs

    xs = ["abc","d","efghij"];
    ys = map(length,xs);
    // ys = [3,1,6]

       or

    xs = [1,-5,2,-7,-4];
    ys = map(abs,xs);
    // ys = [1,5,2,7,4]
