NAME

       CGI::safeFloat - Convert a string to a Float.

SYNOPSIS

       Float safeFloat( String x, Float min, Float max )

ARGUMENTS

       x The string to convert

       min The minimum value

       max The maximum value

DESCRIPTION

       Convert  a  string to a Float, throwing an Exception if the resulting Float is out of the specified range
       (note that due to floating-point inaccuracies, values very close to the minimum or maximum value  may  be
       incorrectly rejected or accepted).
