SYNOPSIS

        use IM::MD5;

        $digest = &md5_str($text);

DESCRIPTION

       The IM::MD5 module handles MD5 message-digest algorithm.

       This modules is provided by IM (Internet Message).

EXAMPLES

        &md5_str("") returns d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e.
        &md5_str("a") returns 0cc175b9c0f1b6a831c399e269772661.
        &md5_str("abc") returns 900150983cd24fb0d6963f7d28e17f72.
