NAME

       IO::file - Create a File from a pointer

SYNOPSIS

       File file( Ptr ptr, [FileMode] mode=[Read, Write, Append] )

ARGUMENTS

       ptr The pointer

       mode The file mode, if known. This should be set if possible.

DESCRIPTION

       This coerces a pointer to a C file handle into a File
        This  function is intended solely for writing interfaces to C code that returns file handles, and should
       not be used for other purposes.
