NAME

       IO::ptr - Create a Ptr from a file handle

SYNOPSIS

       Ptr ptr( File file )

ARGUMENTS

       ptr The file handle

DESCRIPTION

       This retrieves a C pointer from a file handle, which may sometimes be needed for writing foreign function
       interfaces. This function should not be used for any other purpose.
