NAME

       Regex::quickMatch - Test whether a string matches the pattern

SYNOPSIS

       Bool quickMatch( String patt, String str, [REFlags] fl=createArray(1) )

ARGUMENTS

       patt A regular expression in String form

       str The string to be matched

       fl  A  list  of  Regex.REFlags (3kaya) options for the regular expression. This parameter is optional and
       defaults to the empty list.

DESCRIPTION

       Test whether str matches patt , returning true if it does and false otherwise.

    if (!quickMatch(".@.*\.[a-z]+$",email,[IgnoreCase])) {
        throw(NotAnEmailAddress);
    }
