NAME

       IO::putChar - Write a character to a file.

SYNOPSIS

       Void putChar( File handle, Char c )

ARGUMENTS

       handle A writable file handle

       c The byte to write

DESCRIPTION

       Write  a  binary character to a file.  Char(200) will write a byte with a value of 200, not the multibyte
       representation of Char(200) in UTF-8. Writing a character with a value greater than 256 is undefined.
