NAME

       IO::readFile - Read a text file.

SYNOPSIS

       String readFile( String fname )

ARGUMENTS

       fname A file name

DESCRIPTION

       Reads  the  entire  contents  of fname into a String. This function assumes that the file is a text file,
       rather than a binary file.
