SYNOPSIS
datalad-download-url [-h] [-O PATH] [-o] [-x] url [url ...]
DESCRIPTION
Download content
It allows for a uniform download interface to various supported URL schemes, re-using or asking for au‐
thentication detail maintained by datalad.
Examples:
$ datalad download http://example.com/file.dat s3://bucket/file2.dat
OPTIONS
url URL(s) to be downloaded. Constraints: value must be a string
-h, --help, --help-np
show this help message. --help-np forcefully disables the use of a pager for displaying the help
message
-O PATH, --path PATH
path (filename or directory path) where to store downloaded file(s). In case of multiple URLs pro‐
vided, must point to a directory. Otherwise current directory is used. Constraints: value must be
a string [Default: None]
-o, --overwrite
flag to overwrite it if target file exists. [Default: False]
-x, --stop-on-failure
flag to stop subsequent downloads upon first failure to download. [Default: False]
