NAME

       scan_ushort - parse an unsigned short integer in decimal ASCII representation

DESCRIPTION

       scan_ushort  parses  an  unsigned  short  integer in decimal ASCII representation from src and writes the
       result into dest. It returns the number of bytes read from src.
