If prerm fails during upgrade or fails on failed upgrade.

       old-postinst abort-remove
              If prerm fails during removal.

       postinst abort-deconfigure in-favour new-package new-version
              [ removing old-package old-version ]
If prerm fails during deconfiguration of a package.
