       manpath [-qgdc?V] [-m system[,...]] [-C file]


説明
       $MANPATH  環境変数が設定されている場合、 manpath は単にその内容を表示し、警告を発行します。設定されていな
       い場合、 manpath は適切なマニュアルページ階層検索パスを決定し、その結果を表示します。

       The colon-delimited path is determined using information gained from  the  man-db  configuration  file  –
       (/etc/manpath.config)  and the user's environment.


オプション
       -q, --quiet
              警告を発行しません。

       -d, --debug
              デバッグ情報を表示します。

       -c, --catpath
              manpath  に対応する catpath (整形済みマニュアルページのパス) を生成します。一度 manpath が決定して
              から、それぞれのパス要素に対応する catpath に変換します。

       -g, --global
              Produce a manpath consisting of all paths named as "global" within the man-db configuration file.

       -m system[,...], --systems=system[,...]
              If this system has access to other operating systems' manual hierarchies, this option can be  used
              to  include  them  in  the  output of manpath.  To include NewOS's manual page hierarchies use the
              option -m NewOS.

              system はコンマ区切りの OS 名で指定します。現在の OS  のマニュアルページ階層を含める場合は、システ
              ム名の引数文字列に man を含めます。このオプションは $SYSTEM 環境変数を上書きします。

       -C file, --config-file=file
              Use this user configuration file rather than the default of ~/.manpath.

       -?, --help
              ヘルプメッセージを表示して終了します。

       --usage
              Print a short usage message and exit.

       -V, --version
              バージョン情報を表示します。


環境変数
       MANPATH
              If $MANPATH is set, manpath displays its value rather than determining it on the fly.

              See  the  SEARCH  PATH  section  of  manpath(5)  for the default behaviour and details of how this
              environment variable is handled.

       SYSTEM $SYSTEM が設定されている場合、 -m オプションで指定した引数と同様の効果があります。


ファイル
       /etc/manpath.config  man-db 設定ファイルです。
