NAME

       firestring_estr_read - read from a file descriptor into an estring

SYNOPSIS

       #include <firestring.h>
       -lfirestring

       int firestring_estr_read(struct firestring_estr_t *estring, int fd)

DESCRIPTION

       firestring_estr_read()  read(2)'s  as  much data as is available from fd and will fit in estring onto the
       end of the data that is already there.  It updates the length of the string accordingly.

RETURN VALUE

       0 on success. 1 with errno set properly if read returns an error or indicates EOF. 2 if there is no space
       in the buffer for further reads.
